President's message

Dear ESAP family,

Warmest greetings!

On this occasion of launching ESAPs website, on behalf of the Executive committee of ESAP, I would like to take the opportunity of saying “HAPPY ETHIOPIAN NEW YEAR” which will be the last of the 19th (1999) to all of you.

Firstly, on behalf of ESAP I would like to extend many thanks to the outgoing Executive Committee Members for their dedication and hard work.

As I begin my term (2005-2007) as president of the Ethiopian Society of Animal Production (ESAP), I must say that it is truly an honor for me to represent the Society. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities this position brings and promised to my self to take the society one step ahead and reenergize the society with the help of ESAP family.

This ESAP web page serves as platform for disseminating information on the development of animal production and scientific issues. It is important to note that the primary objectives of the Society are to:

1. Provide forums for continual exchange and dissemination of research ideas, findings and observations to promote scientific discourse on current issues of animal production;
2. Promote the advancement of animal production through quality research and development interventions, and;
3. Encourage and reward exemplary research and development undertakings.

We look forward to hearing any ideas you may have to increase the interaction between members, ESAP executives and outside world.
